About Us

Shag Rug La was founded by Dewey Whitehead in 1968. Our original location was on the corner of 3500 South Bangerter Highway in West Valley City.

Since 1968, our company has been owned and operated by three generations of the Whitehead Family. While our store has relocated since originally opening, our family values and dedication to our customers has not changed.
